In a dystopian future under a totalitarian regime, one hundred teenagers are selected to participate in the Long Walk—a brutal competition in which participants must maintain a minimum constant speed. Anyone who slows down... is executed. No breaks, no rest, no second chances.

Among the young people is Ray Garraty, a boy from Maine who initially enters the march with vague hopes of victory. But as the miles pile up and his fellow marchers fall one by one, reality becomes unbearable. The physical journey soon turns into a devastating psychological test, where friendship, rivalry, and sanity itself are put to the test.

As the entire country watches the march live as a macabre spectacle, Ray and his fellow marchers begin to question the true cost of obedience, survival, and the glory promised to the last survivor.

Based on Stephen King's disturbing novel (under the pseudonym Richard Bachman), the film combines constant tension, social criticism, and raw emotion—masterfully directed by Francis Lawrence (The Hunger Games) and written by JT Mollner.
