The Negotiator (1998)

Danny Roman is one of the Chicago Police Department's best hostage negotiators, known for keeping his cool even in the most extreme situations. But his life is turned upside down when he is accused of murdering his own partner in a case that presents incredibly compelling evidence—too compelling to be true. Convinced that he is the target of a conspiracy within the department, Danny realizes that time is running out to prove his innocence.
