Anniversary (2025)

In Anniversary (2025), the apparent harmony of a family is put to the test when a mysterious new social movement called “The Change” spreads across the country. What begins as a cultural and political phenomenon quickly takes on a sinister tone, dividing opinions and creating an atmosphere of mistrust even within homes once marked by unity and affection.

As the influence of “The Change” grows, secrets come to light and family ties are eroded by opposing beliefs. The core of the story follows the desperate attempts of family members to preserve mutual trust while external—and internal—forces work to tear them apart. At stake is not only the survival of the family bond, but also the identity of each member in the face of a collapsing society.

Directed and written by Jan Komasa, with a screenplay co-written by Lori Rosene-Gambino, the film blends intimate drama and social criticism in a powerful and timely plot. Anniversary promises to explore the limits of love, faith, and resistance in the face of a movement that redefines not only public life, but also the privacy of the most personal feelings.
