In a city suspended in the skies, the rich live amid luxury and technology, while the poor survive in cramped ghettos, suffocated by inequality. Down below, in the Abyss, is where everything—and everyone—undesirable is discarded. For the privileged, it is just an endless hole. For the forgotten, it is a constant threat.

Rudo, a young man marked by his humble origins and his love for fixing what others throw away, lives on the margins of this cruel society. But when he is unjustly accused of a murder he did not commit, he receives a brutal sentence: to be thrown alive into the Abyss.

Falling into an unknown world, Rudo awakens in a land made of waste, where the garbage of civilization takes shape and life—and accumulated hatred generates monstrous creatures made of twisted metal, contaminated plastic, and rage. There, he discovers that all is not lost: there is a group of warriors—the Keepers—who protect the survivors and fight the beasts of the abyss, using unique abilities forged in pain and scrap metal.

Overcome by a desire for justice and a thirst for revenge, Rudo will have to face not only the horrors of the new world, but also his own past and the weight of the truth hidden behind the fall. Amid visceral battles, organic technologies, and unlikely bonds, he begins to discover that his strength may come from precisely what others despise.
