Caught Stealing (2025)

In Thieves (2025), Hank Thompson (Austin Butler) seemed to have found some balance after seeing his promising baseball career collapse while still in high school. Even without being able to play, he built a relatively stable life in New York: he has a loving girlfriend, Kelly (Zoë Kravitz), who works as a bartender in a city bar, and he excitedly follows his favorite team's surprising run for the title. But everything changes when his eccentric neighbor Russ (Matt Smith) asks him for a simple favor: to take care of his cat for a few days.

What should have been a mundane task soon plunges Hank into a web of chaos and violence. Upon opening the door to Russ's apartment, he discovers that nothing there is ordinary — least of all the people who begin to cross his path. Suddenly, he finds himself surrounded by a gallery of unpredictable and threatening gangsters, all obsessed with getting something from him, even though Hank has no idea what it is.
