After years of sacrifice and hard work, Ji-hoon finally realizes his dream of home ownership: a modest 84 square meter apartment in a newly built condominium on the outskirts of Seoul. But relief gives way to unease when he starts to hear strange sounds coming from the walls - muffled whispers, regular knocks in the early hours of the morning, and noises that seem to respond to his presence.

Trying to adapt to his new life, Ji-hoon encounters increasingly hostile, evasive and disturbingly synchronized neighbors. His requests for explanations are ignored, and any attempt to understand what is going on is met with cold stares and veiled threats. As his sanity begins to crumble, he discovers clues that the building may hide dark secrets linked to ancient disappearances and an abandoned experimental project.

Caught between distrust and fear, Ji-hoon must decide whether to face the truth hidden behind the walls... or become another of those who have disappeared without a trace.

"My 84 m²" is a suffocating psychological thriller about urban isolation, paranoia and the dangers that can lurk within the home we swear to call our own.
