After the explosive events of The Suicide Squad, Christopher Smith, also known as Peacemaker (John Cena), survives and returns — more brutal, sarcastic, and contradictory than ever. Scarred by trauma, dubious loyalties, and a twisted sense of justice, he is recruited to join a new clandestine operation by the US government: Project Butterfly.

Led by an unlikely group of agents and analysts, the team must investigate and eliminate threats that challenge global security. However, as the mission progresses, Peacemaker is forced to confront not only alien enemies and terrorists, but also the demons of his past — especially the influence of his father, a violent supremacist who shaped his worldview.

Between sharp jokes, bloody confrontations, and moral dilemmas, the series offers an irreverent satire on patriotism, with a protagonist who is at once charismatic, pathetic, and deeply human. Peacemaker blends insane action, political commentary, and emotional development in one of the most daring spin-offs in the DC universe.
