Synopsis

SAKAMOTO DAYS (2025) is a highly anticipated live-action adaptation of the popular comedy and action manga written and illustrated by Yuto Suzuki. The film will bring to the big screen the thrilling story of Taro Sakamoto, a legendary hitman who decides to abandon his life of killing to live peacefully with his family.

The plot follows Sakamoto after his retirement as one of the most feared assassins in the underworld. Now overweight and the owner of a convenience store, he tries to lead a peaceful life. However, his past will not leave him alone. When old enemies and shady organizations discover his whereabouts, Sakamoto will need to reactivate his deadly skills to protect those he loves — all without breaking his promise to never kill again.

With a perfect blend of frenetic action, irreverent humor, and charismatic characters, SAKAMOTO DAYS promises to deliver spectacularly choreographed fight sequences, as well as hilarious moments that capture the spirit of the original material.
