Freakier Friday (2025)

Years have passed since Tess and Anna Coleman switched bodies and learned valuable lessons about empathy and understanding. Now, Anna is an adult, a devoted mother, and about to become a stepmother to a teenager—a young woman with as much personality as she had in her youth. As she tries to balance family and professional life, Anna finds herself reliving the same tensions she once had with her own mother.

But fate — and perhaps a touch of magic — decides to interfere again. When a mysterious event causes Tess and Anna to switch bodies once more, the two must deal with the consequences of this new confusion, now amid children, stepchildren, and much greater responsibilities.

Directed by Nisha Ganatra, with a screenplay by Jordan Weiss and Elyse Hollander, Freaky Friday is a fun and nostalgic sequel that updates the classic story for a new generation, showing that growing up doesn't stop anyone from having the craziest day of their lives — again.
