Yano-kun's Ordinary Days (2025) follows Kiyoko Yoshida, a shy and anxious class representative who begins to notice something that no one else seems to see. Every day, Tsuyoshi Yano—the classmate who sits next to her—arrives at school with new bruises, always quiet and indifferent, as if the pain were just part of his routine. Moved not only by concern, but by a sensitivity she herself barely understands, Kiyoko decides to take care of him, even if it means crossing boundaries she never had the courage to cross before.

Over time, Kiyoko's silent insistence creates a ritual between the two: bandages, unanswered questions, and small gestures that turn into intimacy. However, the more she tries to help, the more she realizes that Tsuyoshi's world is shrouded in secrets that no medicine can cure. What begins as a simple act of kindness turns into a deep connection that brings them closer together but also puts them in emotionally dangerous situations.

While Kiyoko faces her confused feelings and the guilt of insisting on helping someone who may not want to be saved, Tsuyoshi questions whether life can be anything more than what he already accepts as inevitable.
