Love Untangled (2025)

In Amor Enrolado, we follow the life of a teenager full of dreams, insecurities, and desires typical of youth. Determined to win over the most coveted boy in school, she believes she needs to change who she is to get his attention—and decides to straighten her hair, believing that only then will she be accepted and noticed. This seemingly simple decision sets her on a path of personal discovery and identity dilemmas, where social pressure and fear of rejection become obstacles as big as love itself.

However, everything changes when a new person arrives at school, someone who sees beyond appearances and challenges her certainties. The unexpected relationship causes her to question her choices, her view of beauty, and even what it really means to fall in love. Between moments of teenage humor, internal conflicts, and the freshness of first love, the protagonist realizes that perhaps being true to herself is the most important step in finding the love she desires.

Directed by Namkoong Sun and written by Ji Chun-hee and Wang Doo-ri, the film mixes teenage romance, social criticism, and light drama. More than a teen romantic comedy, Love in the Mix is a celebration of authenticity, diversity, and the courage to be who you are amid the pressures of a world that insists on dictating standards.
