The Bayou (2025)

In Inferno no Pântano (2025), a group of friends see their vacation turn into a nightmare when the plane they were traveling on crashes in the isolated swamps of Louisiana. Amid injuries and despair, Kyle, a recent graduate from Houston, takes the lead in trying to keep everyone alive in a hostile environment, where nature itself is a relentless enemy.

However, the survivors soon discover that the real danger comes not only from the lack of resources or the vastness of the swamp. Something mysterious lurks beneath the shallow waters, watching their every move, turning what would be a struggle for survival into a deadly confrontation with a dark and relentless presence. The tension mounts with every passing minute, while hope for rescue diminishes.

Directed by Taneli Mustonen and Brad Watson, with a screenplay by Ashley Holberry and Gavin Cosmo Mehrtens, the film blends elements of suspense, horror, and action in a suffocating and claustrophobic setting. Hell in the Swamp promises an intense experience, filled with chases, mystery, and the desperate struggle of humans against forces that should never have been awakened.
